Words cannot describe how satisfied my family and I am with the Speech Therapy services my son has received from Andrzej Lewandowski. Andrzej is very knowledgeable in his field and it definitely shows in his ability to diagnose and in coming up with different strategies to help his specific diagnoses and needs. Andrzej is very kind, patient, and personable and is amazing at keeping my son engaged by centering therapy around play and across various platforms. My son's speech has progressed tremendously since starting Speech Therapy and continues to do so daily. I know my son would not have come this far if it wasn't for the help and guidance of Andrzej.

Andrzej Lewandowski is a phenomenal bilingual Polish speech language pathologist who performs speech therapy services in the greater Chicagoland area. He specializes in the treatment of pediatric speech and language delays and disorders and is exceptional at performing speech and language evaluations and assessments. He provides speech therapy for children with articulation and phonological disorders as well as expressive and receptive problems at their own homes. I highly recommend Andrzej as a pediatric speech language pathologist to help children with all of their communication needs.

As a fellow speech/language pathologist, I have had the pleasure to work with Andrzej Lewandowski in a school setting. He had very good rapport with the students, and used engaging therapy activities. The children always looked forward to working with “Mr. L”! My 3 year old son has been receiving speech/language therapy services with Andrzej Lewandowski of Dempster Therapeutic Services since early July. When he started services most people had difficulty understanding him and he did not answer questions. He also had a high level of frustration due to difficulty communicating with us. In the short time since he started working with Andrzej we have seen dramatic improvement! Our son is starting to converse with us and many people have commented that they now understand his speech. Our children’s speech and language development are a huge deal to us, parents of prematurely born twins (born 3 months before the due date). Ever since they were born, we were told they would present with significant delays, let alone meeting their milestones. 

Ever since Andrzej became our speech therapist, things have significantly changed for the better. The communication between our twins has drastically improved. Andrzej is unbelievably patient, his approach to little kids is excellent, and his ability to keep the kids on task is great. Each session is different and completely personalized for the particular child. Watching Andrzej interact with our kids is a joy, as they continue to improve every single day. Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend Andrzej as a bilingual (Polish-English) speech language pathologist. His expertise, passion for what he does, and his dedicated work with both kids and their caregivers make him a great asset for all parents whose are concerned about their kid’s speech and language skills.

Jest wspaniałym, ciepłym człowiekiem, zaangażowanym pedagogiem, ale przede wszystkim bardzo kompetentnym terapeutą, wkłada wiele serca w pracę z dziećmi. Moja czteroletnia córka od kilku miesięcy korzysta z terapii prowadzonych przez Pana Andrzeja i uwielbia te spotkania. P. Andrzej dostosowuje tematykę zajęć do potrzeb i zainteresowań dziecka, na zajęciach jest bardzo duża dynamika, moja córka bez problemu przechodzi z języka angielskiego na polski i odwrotnie, bardzo poprawiła wymowę w najdrobniejszych szczegółach, ponieważ P. Andrzej uważnie słucha i poprawia najdrobniejsze błędy. Na lekcjach panuje fantastyczna atmosfera na zasadzie"bawiąc się, uczymy się", jest to szczególnie ważne w przypadku małych dzieci. Do pana Andrzeja Lewandowskiego z Dempster Therapeutic Services trafiliśmy 2 miesiące temu. Dzieki profesjonalnemu podejściu nasz 6 letni synek zaczyna mówić. I am an Otolaryngologist in the Chicagoland area and have been collaborating with Andrzej Lewandowski and his practice for about 5 years in helping pediatric patients with speech and language delays. He does an outstanding job of assessing the speech and developmental problems and does a wonderful job of coming up with a tailored treatment plan for a child to help with the developmental problems. He is very knowledgeable of the ear, nose and throat problems and how these can affect the speech and language development, and how to evaluate and manage these problems to give patients the best overall care.
